Avian Community Business

Avian Community Business Limited is a small non for profit company managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The company was founded in 1999 as a part of the Thompson Street Estate Revival Strategy, an initiative led by the estate landlords, Newydd Housing Association but remains an independent organisation.

As a community business, Avian works closely with residents and customers to provide a service that reflects the needs if the communities in which it operates. This allows Avian to provide added value services to both private and commercial customers.

Avian endeavors to provide competitive rates for work undertaken but, as with any other business has to meet overheads inclusive of staff salaries. However, over the past 6 years, our client base has built up considerably.

In 2001, Avian also achieved recognition for its' work by becoming an Approved Environmental Body, one of only two within the Vale of Glamorgan. This provides the company with the ability to dispose of waste effectively and advise all our customers of good environmental practices.

Avian's Directors and staff are committed to providing a quality service and regularly undertake training to ensure we keep up to date with legal requirements and to meet the changing needs of our customers.
